TERMS OF ENTRY

Thanks for purchasing a ticket to GABS! You’re in for a treat.

For us, GABS is all about sharing our love of craft beer and cider through an exceptional experience. And as one of our awesome attendees, you play a big part in creating that experience. Here’s some more info on what you can expect at our event, and what we ask for from you.

WHAT TO BRING

YOUR TICKET
Once you’ve completed your order, this will be emailed to you. Print it out or have it ready on your phone. No ticket, no entry.

PROOF OF AGE
Licence, passport or proof of age card are a must-have. An encyclopaedic knowledge of 80s pop songs won’t cut it.

CREDIT CARD
GABS is a 100% cashless event. With no cash to handle, this helps our bars and exhibitors process transactions quickly, which means more time for you to enjoy the festival.

WHAT NOT TO BRING
Bottles, cans, glass, food, drink, alcohol, illicit drugs, illegal substances, fireworks, explosives or anything that can be used as a weapon cannot be brought into the event. Please note that all bags will be checked on arrival, and are also subject to inspection at any point during the event.

BEHAVIOUR
While there’s a lot of alcohol available, GABS is by no means a swillathon. Take your time, plan your drinks, and consume responsibly. Mix it up with plenty of water, which is freely available throughout the festival. We have a zero tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, so unless you want our big security guard Bruno to escort you out of the building, play it cool and look after your mates.

SMOKING / VAPING

Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere within the festival hall.

EVENT POSTPONEMENT
If you have purchased tickets to an event that is later postponed for any reason, all tickets for the original dates will automatically be transferred to the new dates or converted to GABS Ticket Vouchers usable at any future GABS events.

If you can’t make it on the new event date, you can transfer your ticket to another GABS event or session (see below for more info), give it to a friend, or if you have any questions, get in touch with us at contact@gabs.beer.

CHANGE OF MIND
If you have purchased tickets for an event that is scheduled to proceed on the date advertised at the time of purchase, unfortunately no refunds are available in this circumstance. You can transfer the ticket to another event or session (see below for more info), or give it to a friend. No change of name on the ticket is required.

TICKET TRANSFERS
Transfers to another person. If you’re unable to use your tickets, they can be given to another person. We don’t need the new attendee’s name.

Transfers to another session or event. If you inadvertently booked tickets to the wrong session or wrong festival all together (oops), please send a note with your name, email and details of your transfer to contact@gabs.beer and we’ll sort you out.

Please note transfers are subject to ticket availability and tickets cannot be transferred to a sold out session.

BAR SERVICE TIMES

All bars at GABS will open at the published start time of each session. You’ll know they’re open as we ring a massive bell, which can be heard throughout the festival hall. All bars will close 15 minutes prior to the published closing time of each session. Again, big bell.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
By attending the festival, you agree and understand that your image may be taken at the event by GABS photographers and/or videographers, and consent to the commercial use of such images by GABS for advertising, marketing and social media purposes. If you do not want GABS to use your image, please email a clear photograph of yourself to contact@gabs.beer in advance of the event you are attending, and we’ll make every effort to ensure no such images are used.
