SCHEDULE

SESSION 1

12:45pm Q & ALES: BELGIAN AND FARMHOUSE
To many brewers, Belgium is the holy land of beer. You can find its influence in every bar, festival and brewery, and GABS is no exception. It's an esoteric land of beer that we love to explore. With Chris Sidwa (Batch Brewing Co), Neal Cameron (Beerfarm), Shawn Sherlock (Foghorn Brewhouse), Drizabone Dickinson (Shark Island), Jeremy Halse (White Rabbit).

1:45pm KEYNOTE: INSIDE LAGUNITAS WITH PAT MACE
Lagunitas is one of the pioneers when it comes to big, West Coast style American IPAs. They make some of the best in the game. If you love hoppy American styles, then don't miss this in-depth conversation with Lagunitas’ ‘Doctor of Beer’ Pat Mace.

2:45pm Q & ALES: BARRELS OF FUN
Cider and beer just loves spending time in oak. However there is more to it than just plonking a drink in an old barrel and hoping for the best. Learn what a barrel can do for anything from Imperial Stout to Dry Cider. With Andy Mitchell (Australian Beer Co), Ben Gayfer (Napoleone), James Kendell (Small Acres Cyder), Dan Fardon (Stockade Brew Co), Shaun Blissett (Wayward Brewing Co).

SESSION 2

7:15pm Q & ALES: LET'S GET WEIRD
We love weird stuff here at GABS. Beer that tastes like Violet Crumble? Yes please! Weetbix in a beer? Ok, why not? Icecream infusions? One please. Come along and share a taste with the brewers. With Will Brown (Colonial Brewing Co), Pat McInerney (Willie The Boatman), Ashur Hall (Stomping Ground Brewing Co), Adrian McNulty (Moon Dog Craft Brewery), Kevin Hingston (Pact Beer Co).

8:15pm KEYNOTE: FROM BRIGHT TO BRICK LANE AND THE BEERS IN BETWEEN
With a passion for brewing quality beer, Jon Seltin is about to take on his most ambitious project yet with Brick Lane Brewing Co. Join us as Jon reflects on his journey from Bright Brewery to Hawkers to Brick Lane, along with tasters of his favourite beers along the way.

9:15pm Q & ALES: SOUR BEER, HAPPY FACES
If you don't love sour beer then can you even say you love beer? Come along and find out what makes your beer sour, and all the fun flavours you'll find. With Mazen Hajjar (Hawkers Beer), Garrett Sherman (4 Pines), Cornel Ianculovici (Shambles Brewery), Craig Wealands (Thirsty Crow), Phil Stevens (Welder's Dog).
