After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to pause the 2026 GABS festivals until 2027.
While we’re disappointed not to celebrate with you in 2026, this pause & reset allows us to plan, refresh and return bigger, better, and more exciting than ever. 
We want to thank our incredible community, partners and supporters for your understanding and ongoing enthusiasm. This isn’t goodbye — just a little break. We’ll see you in 2027 with something truly special.

The GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers people’s choice poll is here for 2025 and we invite you to show your support for Australia’s incredibly talented breweries. This isn’t just a poll; it’s a nationwide toast to creativity, craftsmanship, and the brews that bring us together.

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND DESIGN AWARDS
Over 100 of Australia & New Zealand’s most creative breweries threw their best can designs into the ring for this year’s GABS Design Awards. From bold brews to jaw-dropping art, every entry was showcased in our epic digital gallery, and thousands of beer lovers tapped in to vote for their favourites.
For Australia, Capital Brewing Co took out the top spot with their eye-popping Tokyo Draft Rice Lager can, designed by the ultra-talented Mick Healy.
In New Zealand, Garage Project’s Good Things Come To Those Who Wait designed by Adam Macauley was crowned number one.

BAYSIDE'S BEER BASH IS BACK
Brought to you from the legends at Bad Shepherd Brewing Co, this all-ages, family-friendly festival brings together six of Southeast Melbourne’s best independent breweries, serving up fresh local brews alongside mouth-watering street eats and a full day of entertainment.
Enjoy a stacked live music lineup headlined by Aussie rock legends Dallas Crane and Area-7, plus great local acts all afternoon.
With food trucks, kids’ activities, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the vibes, there’s something for everyone — from beer lovers to families looking for a great day out.

Started in 2021, GABS Cares has been created by the GABS Craft Beer Festival team to support and give back to various beer industry initiatives and good community charitable causes within Australia.
BELLRINGER HALL OF FAME
Since GABS began, we’ve had a little tradition in place, where we invite one of the most influential brewers, cidermakers, or just all-round awesome people to ‘ring the bell’ to open and close every GABS session. While it may sound like a simple thing, it’s become a true ‘badge of honour’ for all GABS Bellringers.
